A daytime strain that helped me reconnect with the outside world
I’m 60, and after two strokes I had become mostly homebound and lost the motivation to do much of anything. When legalization arrived in 2024, someone suggested that I try growing indoors. Since I was already spending most of my time at home, I decided to build my first small setup.
I found the seeds I needed here and have been a repeat customer ever since. One of my early orders included PH from Bulk. I was able to take it all the way through harvest, although my plant never developed the purple coloring.
I used a compact 35 × 35 × 90 cm Herbgarden tent along with the technical components from my old Bonsanto Growkoffer “M”. Under 35 watts in a 3.5-liter container, it finished in roughly 12 weeks.
For me, the most meaningful part was the effect. It helped me feel motivated enough to leave the house again and spend more time around other people.
